Halloween Tradition...

Every year our wonderful friends the Browns host a Halloween party, and of course this year was no exception. The boys decided to both be pirates this year{Captain Hook and Mr.Smeed} and London was Tinkerbell{with a homemade costume and all, I might add}. The kids had such a fun time at the party which was perfect since the weather was awful outside. Thank you so much Ryan, Amy, Devin, Avery and Cooper for having us all over, we are already looking forward to next years party!!

Waylon and his buddies...
{Matias, Owen, Jack, Waylon, Avery and Ella}
The LITTLE ones...
{Emma, Madeleine, Ben, London, Sadie, Cooper and Sophia}

On a side note...I HAD to make London's costume{thankfully it came out GREAT}, I had ordered one from a blog I read of another mom and here is where my frustration comes into play. I ordered the costume with plenty of time for it to get here according to the vendor's website. However, after contacting her SEVERAL times regarding London's costume she told me I would not have it in the 3 weeks like her site states but more like 8 weeks...as you can imagine I became SUPER frustrated. My point is that I will no longer purchase items from vendor's on "famous" blogs, because I learned a lot of times the blog mom's received free items from the vendor and in return put up an ad on their blog for them. I think that STINKS!! If you don't know whether the vendor is reliable then DON'T support them...it sends the wrong message. Just my two cents and in the end London's homemade costume was PERFECT, however...the vendor will not refund my money!! Oh and yeah, Halloween is in 2 days and still no costume!!

Farm Field Trip FUN...

Waylon had his very first field trip yesterday. And it was to one of his favorite spots...the local farm. It was so much fun feeding all the animals and getting to take a hay ride. It was s cold morning and poor Waylon was complaining of his ear hurting so I made him wear his hat. He had a BLAST going to his favorite place with all his favorite friends.

It's Back...

Hockey Season has officially started AGAIN! And this year instead of having only one player in the family we have TWO! But I have to admit I am loving it. I love meeting other hockey mom's and swapping stories with them, I love that the boys have something to do on these cold winter days, and I LOVE that it makes their Daddy so proud to see his little guys playing one of his favorite sports. Easton is continuing his developmental/skills class and is also doing learn to skate although he is a pro...he is doing it to help Waylon during his learn to skate class. Both boys are doing amazing and to be honest Waylon is a natural. I think having to watch Easton last year and begging to get out on the ice with his big brother helped make him an amazing 3 year old hockey player.

SPOOOOKY house....

The new neighborhood goes all out when it comes to decorating houses for the holidays. There are several that go all our for Halloween and of course we had to be one of those houses. The boys LOVE driving through the 'hood to look at all the SPOOOOKY houses.

Apple Picking...

We spent the morning at our favorite fall spot...picking apples. We love to ride the wagon out the orchard and pick 2 bags full of apples and then ride the tractor back to the barn and get our freshly made apple, cinnamon doughnuts before heading back home. London LOVES apples, not picking them so much, but eating them. The boys were a lot of help this year picking apples, and earned their doughnuts. Fall is upon us as you can tell from the last pictures and from the kiddos' clothing.
