Snow Fort

The guys spent the evening building a snow fort. They had a BLAST but, like always, I'm not sure who had more fun Easton or Ian.

Snow Days

After a night of snowfall, Easton and Waylon went out to enjoy the freshly fallin' snow. Easton could stay out in the snow ALL day if I let him. Waylon wasn't as sure of the snow. Hopefully, Easton and Ian will go sledding tonight. Hope the weather is as WONDERFUL where you are!!

Snowgiant

Ian and Easton went out into the snow tonight, when Ian got home from work. They had so much FUN playing in the snow and building their snowgiant. It's the BIGGEST in the neighborhood. Easton was SUPER happy because it started snowing again when he went to bed. I am sure we will be out in the snow again tomorrow...maybe even Waylon too!

SNOW

We FINALLY got some REAL snow last night, about 6 inches. While Waylon took his morning nap Easton and I headed out in the snow. I shoveled the drive way while Easton played in the snow. However, I think Easton was trying to get the credit for shoveling the driveway. Easton will head out again when Ian gets home from work.

New Do

We are trying out some new hair styles on Waylon. This was our favorite!

Sittin' Handsome

Waylon is starting to sit on his own...we still have the occasional roll over or crash forward. But all in all he is getting better.

No More Glasses

Here are some NEW pictures of Ian and the boys. NO MORE GLASSES for Ian, he had LASIK a week ago!! Easton enjoys rough-housing with Ian and not having to worry about his glasses. One picture I had to include to show how much Waylon LOVES his BIG brother. And Easton has his spaceship, because as he tells me every minute of everyday, he wants to be an astronaut!

Hide~N~Seek

Easton LOVES to play hide~n~seek. Every night when Daddy gets home from work they have to play a few quick games of hide~n~seek. Easton has gotten so good at finding hiding spots that sometimes Ian has a hard time finding him.

New Best Friend

Waylon found a new best friend...his tongue. He loves to stick it out and copying me when I stick mine out. Easton and him are having fun playing this little game too.

Hair Cut

FINALLY, I took Easton to get his haircut today! Thankfully he has a TON of hair like his Mommy, so no buzz cut for him!! Here is pre-cut and the post-cut...I know there isn't a huge difference in the hair but it was just a trim.

The REAL Deal

I know, another posting of Waylon, but I had to. After feeding Waylon his cereal and baby food I decided to try some REAL solids (kinda). I gave him those Gerber Puffs, and he actually chewed them and liked them! He is growing up so quickly!

Good Morning, Sunshine!!

This is one of my favorite parts of the day... every morning when Waylon wakes up he lays in his crib and just talks, until I make it into his room. When I go into his room he always looks for me and give me the BIGGEST smiles. I tried to capture that this morning, I was somewhat successful. This little boy is an absolute blessing and brings so much happiness to our family.

Here They Are!

I finally was able to get some good pictures of Waylon's new friends. He has been working on getting these two bottom teeth for sometime now. When he smiles really BIG you can get a glimpse of them.

Fun In The Snow

Last week we got a snow storm and ice storm all in one. Since there is a layer of ice on top of the snow you don't need a sled to go sledding. Ian's brother Alex is in for the long weekend from Idaho. So Easton got to enjoy sledding with his Uncle Alex!!

I Look Like You, Mommy!!

While I was cooking dinner and feeding Waylon, Easton was suspiciously quiet. I knew I was in for a treat when I asked him what he was doing and his response was "nothing!" When I went into the bathroom he looked at me and said "I look like you, mommy!"

Good thing his daddy wasn't home. Before I had time to clean up the mess he was rolling his tractors through the mud (make-up). But we've still had the talk about how only mommies wear make-up!

Practice Makes Perfect

Thought I would post these pictures of Waylon lounging with his sun hat on. I bought the hat for our trip to Florida in March and thought I would have him try it on...he decided he would practice his lounging technique. As you can tell practice makes perfect!

EXHAUSTED

I had to take these pictures of Waylon sleeping in his jumper. Waylon is the MOST easy going baby, I know lots of people claim their baby NEVER cries, but seriously Waylon NEVER cries, is the most laid back, easy going baby. The top two pictures are from this morning, the bottom one is from a few weeks ago. But as you can tell jumping takes way too much energy and wears a guy out!

Boys Best Friend

Both of the boys just LOVE their dog Denali. She is the BEST dog ever and enjoys all the attention the boys give her. Easton LOVES to sit on her back when she is laying down and say"yee-haw, giddy up cowboy" and Denali just lets him. Waylon's face will light up with excitement when he sees Denali and any time she gets close enough he will just grab her face. Denali also enjoys curling up in Easton chair for a snooze.
She is truly the Boys' BEST FRIEND!

BIG BOYS!

Easton has become such a BIG BOY! In the mornings he LOVES to get up and take a shower and then sit on our bed and watch his favorite cartoons. It amazes me how much he has grown up since Waylon has arrived. He is very independent and wants to do all the BIG BOY things like showering, using the potty, chewing gum, talking on the phone...the list could go on and on.
I couldn't just post pictures of Easton, so here is one of Waylon too. He LOVES his jumper and chewing on any toy he can get a hold of. I tried to get pictures of his 2 bottom teeth that are now poking up, but was unsuccessful. He is growing up so quickly too, already getting his teeth, eating solids, rolling over...and so many more things.

STORY TIME

The boys were getting ready for bath and bed time. While I was getting the bath ready, Easton was reading Waylon his favorite book about spaceships, astronauts, planets...Waylon LOVES when Easton reads to him!
