Back To The Drawing Board!

This little girl has us more confused than EVER!
London's Upper GI Appointment went well this morning. She cried through the whole test, she did NOT want to drink the barium and sugar water, we finally had to force her to drink it through a syringe...DRAMA QUEEN! But the GREAT news is that everything is anatomically correct, nothing wrong there, the bad news is that this test didn't help figure out why she is screaming during some feeds. Back to the drawing board!? Thanks for your prayers this morning, they were felt!!
*If any of you Mommas out there have been though this and have ANY suggestions/ideas PLEASE feel free to share them*

Look Out NHL...

Here Comes Easton!!

Every Saturday morning and Monday afternoon Easton and Daddy go to the International Skate Center for Easton to take private skate lessons. He has made a lot of progress and can skate by himself and is learning to skate backwards. In late October he will take hockey learn to skate for a few days with several other future NHL players. Then if he likes that class he will enroll in a hockey developmental camp for kids around his age!

London Update

At London's pediatrician appointment yesterday she weighed 11.3 lbs. Although she is gaining weight and is growing, they are still concerned that she is not eating for some of her feedings, but instead screaming and crying throughout them. London will be seen on Tuesday at Connecticut Children's Medical Center to have an upper GI. This test consists of her drinking barium, a thick, white, milkshake like liquid. Then she will have x-rays taken of her stomach to determine how bad her reflux is, if she as any ulcers, make sure there is nothing anatomically wrong and a few other things. We are hoping this test will give the doctors some insight into what is exactly going on and hopefully help her to start feeling better. Just wanted to update you guys and if you think about it say a prayer for little London on Tuesday morning(8am). Much Love!!

London is 3 months

London is such a beautiful little girl. I NEVER thought I would have a little girl, it is so hard for me to believe it still. She is such a sweet, cuddly little girl. She loves to be held or carried around. She still is an amazing night time sleeper and is becoming a better day time sleeper. She loves to smile and coo at her big brothers and they love to kiss all over her.
She goes in tomorrow to see her pediatrician, so I will post her weight then. Please say a small prayer for her, she is still having feeding issues and after going through several GERD(acid reflux) meds, the doctor will decide tomorrow if she needs to go see a pediatric GI and possibly have an endo-scope procedure to determine what exactly is going on. Of course leave it up to the little girl to create all the drama in our house!
We are so VERY thankful for little London and are blessed beyond words. We thank the Lord everyday for our sweet angel!!
WE LOVE YOU LONDON!! Happy 3 Month Birthday!!

Air Show!!

We had a busy weekend, but a FUN one! On Sunday morning we went to the air show, this year Mommy, Waylon and London went. It was a lot of fun and Waylon was most excited to see the helicopter. Easton enjoyed the old time fire truck and army jeep with the gun! London just enjoyed spending time with her big brothers!

A Family Affair...

Since Ian has been out of town for a couple of nights, the boys helped to give sweet London a bath! Easton was in charge of talking to her and making her smile, while Waylon's job was to keep pouring water on her belly to keep her warm. They both did an EXCELLENT job!

Daddy's Girl...

London ADORES her Daddy and I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual. Unlike her big brothers, London LOVES to nap with her Daddy!!

Making New Friends...

LITERALLY!! When I picked E up from school today he told me he made a new friend. So of course I start asking questions about this new friend: Is it a boy or a girl (boy), what's his name (leisli)...Are you sure that's his name, yes, I MADE him today. OH, you MADE him!

PreKindergarten...

Easton's first day of prekindergarten was on Wednesday and he did GREAT! He was so excited for school to start and to have his BEST buddy Devin in his class again this year! He also as another buddy, Juan Marcos, in his class as well. Both Devin and Juan Marcos live on our street, so the boys always enjoy playing together. Easton LOVES his teachers and his new building, I have a feeling it is going to be a GREAT school year!!

Easton seems like such a BIG boy! I can't believe my first born is already in Pre-K and will soon be entering Kindergarten. He has so much to learn and so much I still want to teach him. Today in the car here is a conversation we had that made me sad to think about ...

E: Momma when am I a grown up?

M:Not for a long while, you still have lots to learn and time to grow. Why?

E:I can't wait to be grown up so I can move to the police station and become a police man.

M:I know, but I will be VERY sad when you are all grown up, because you will move into your own house and not live with mommy or daddy any more.

E:Maybe we can move the police station to our house, then I won't have to move.

M:GREAT idea, I LOVE how you think!!

Beach Babes!!

We left Friday and headed to the Connecticut Shore, West Brook, for some fun in the sun and sand. We stayed at a beautiful resort right on the beach. We enjoyed playing in sand, going to the aquarium (it rained one day), eating GREAT seafood, playing in the pool, building sand castles, catching crabs...just having FUN!!
