Easton decided to give soccer a try this fall and has REALLY enjoyed it. He has done a couple soccer camps in summers past but this was his first time to be on a soccer team with practices and games. He now doesn't know if he wants to keep playing soccer in the spring or if he wants to play little league baseball now that he will be old enough. For now he is enjoying soccer and looking forward to hockey season starting.

Bonding Time
I got a manicure and pedicure on Friday, and when I got home London "ooohed and awwwed" over my fingernails. She has had her toenails painted but not her fingernails because she is so impatient. But after listening to her ask me all day to "pretty paint lonlon's nails" I decided to give in. Well, actually Daddy came to the rescue and told her he would paint them. It was so cute watching the two of them enter uncharted waters. And believe it or not London was patient and sat still during the painting and while they dried too.
Finished product!

FIRST test...
Easton had his very first spelling test...well, his VERY first test ever. We practiced the words all week and he got better and better each day. He wasn't nervous when Friday{test day} rolled around, but I was. I couldn't wait for him to get off the bus to find out how he did. And he did GREAT...he got a 100%...I was SO proud and he was too. He couldn't wait to show his Daddy how well he did. Way to go Easton...we are so proud of you!!

ALL Girl 98% girl...2% boy
I still remember laying on the medical bed getting my ultra sound and the doctor asking Ian and I if we wanted to know what we were having. I remember thinking, no, it's probably another boy...but we did say yes, we wanted to know. I can clearly remember the words, "You're gonna have a girl!". I remember the tears flowing, I had just assumed it would be another boy, although I LONGED for a baby girl! Well, I got my sweet baby girl and I love her more today than that day I found out she was in my tummy. She is ALL girl, throws fits over shoes, claiming "I DON'T LIKE IT" when I pick out her clothes, cradling her baby doll as she feeds it a bottle...but when you have two older brothers it's impossible to be 100% girl...

Goldilocks and the three bears
Apparently black bears LOVE leftover pizza and birthday cake. We have heard since we moved into our neighborhood{a year and a half ago} about a black bear who lives in the neighborhood enjoying peoples trash. We had yet to meet our neighbor until recently. We were up early enjoying breakfast when our doorbell rang. It was one of the local builders letting us know we may not want to let the kids out to play or even walk to the bus stop, like we typically do every school day. The boys and London were excited to see the bear...momma not so much. Let's just say I drove to the bus stop that morning and we no longer put our trash out at night.

Waylon's BIG day...
Waylon started pre-kindergarten this year. He now attends school three days per week...he had a wonderful first day{which happened to be his 4th birthday}. He has a whole new set of teachers this year and is slowly warming up to them. He is blessed to have several friends from his class last year and a couple who are his BEST friends. I am praying my little man has a wonderful year this year!!
