Our Daddy is a DIE HARD Detroit Red Wings fan...but, he has a VERY good friend whose son just got called up to the NHL to play for the Colorado Avalanche. Easton went to watch Pat's son play a game when he was playing for Boston University, and Kevin was so sweet to Easton. Well, Easton still refers to Kevin as "his buddy"...Pat came to visit us a few weeks ago and Easton came down stairs and said "Hi, Mr. Shattenkirk...How's my buddy Kevin?" It was the sweetest thing. So today Easton and Waylon were SO excited when they got a package in the mail from Mr.Shattenkirk with autographed Colorado jerseys from their buddy Kevin. Easton now LOVES watching not only the Red Wings play but the Avalanche as well...hope they don't play each other in the play-offs...

SNOWED IN OUT...
We finally got our REAL fist snow fall this winter...and all the munchkins wanted to do was get outside and play in the white stuff. They had a BLAST, all wanting to do different things but still doing things together! They are looking forward to added inches of the white stuff until springtime arrives. Hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are!!

Ho...Ho...Ho'd out
Easton, Waylon and London have seen Santa at least 4 times this year...and I'm pretty sure they are Ho, Ho'd out. Maybe everyone except London, she does not pass up the opportunity to sit on Santa's lap {Ho, Ho as she calls him}. And she makes sure he knows she wants a doll house and the boys want Lego's. I love seeing the excitement in their little faces!! I think I LOVE Christmas even more as a parent than I did as a child.

And the boys have been having a BLAST skating whenever they want to and playing a little 2 on 2 hockey with Daddy and Pappy.
