Gettin' Our Monies Worth!!

Today we got our monies worth when it come to my new car. We got an Expedition EL this past fall and really haven't felt like we've used it to it's fulliest potiential until today, when we gave Devin a ride to gymnastics. I know once little London comes we will defintely use it for all the space it has, but today was our first day to actually have 3 chairseats installed and have Easton sitting in the WAY back. The boys all had a good time on the way to gymnastics and Easton was a little upset that Devin rode home with his mommy instead of us!

HOORAY Poo-Poo!!

Waylon has been VERY interested when Easton's on the potty doing his buisness. So today after Easton finished in the bathroom, Waylon went in there saying "poo-poo". So I decided to let him sit on the potty and give it a try. After about 15 minutes he finally went poo-poo in the potty!! We were all so excited and clapping for him. It was so sweet, you could tell he was really proud and felt like such a big boy!

ice, ice GO AWAY...

Little Easton & Waylon want to play!!We are STUCK inside due to an ice and snow storm...the boys' gymanstics class was canceled so now we are all pulling our hair out, hoping it warms up so we can leave the house sometime today!!

MONSTER JAM!!

Ian surprised Easton by taking him out to lunch and to Monster Jam, on Saturday! As you can tell from the pictures they had a great Father-Son outing. Waylon was really upset when they left the house without him, but he will get to go next year, for sure! Easton got to enjoy a pretzel and his favorite cotton candy. He was disappointed however, when Grave Digger, his favorite monster blew a tire on his first run. But all in all he loved every second of the Monster Jam!!

Name Game...

So Ian and I have been playing the Name Game with this this sweet little girl...trying to decide what we should name her. Our only crtiteria was that her name end in -ON, because EastON and WaylON both end in -ON. We also wanted her to have the middle name Ann, it was Ian's mom's middle name and happens to be my middle name as well. So I think we have offically decided to name her...........

Predictions

I am surprised to see how everyone voted for Baby #3. I thought everyone would think the baby was a Boy! I voted girl, but am 75% sure it's a boy. Ian voted girl and he is 100% sure it's a girl. It depends on what time of day or mood you ask Easton in, because his answer always switches. Here is what he thought the baby was this morning (note if it's a girl he thinks we

should name her Batgirl).

Ian and I really don't have a preference on whether it's a boy or girl just as long as he/she is healthy. I have said from day one of this pregnancy that the Lord has a plan for our family and this child. That as much as I would like to be in control, I am not, and He knows what is best for our family!

Quiet Place

Sometimes a house with 2 dogs and a big brother can overwhelm a little guy! Today I found Waylon laying in Easton's dirty clothes hamper, just trying to find a quiet place to relax.

OH NO...Playdough

I completely forgot until 30 minutes before bed time that I had agreed to make playdough for Easton's school this month! I wanted this to be a fun experience for Easton and I to do together, since it has been a long time since we made playdough together. So I rushed around and got everything we needed (luckily we had all the ingredients we needed) and we got started. Of course I was in such a rush that I didn't really pay attention to the directions, until I realized I made a huge mistake...I mixed all the ingredients including the flour and put them on the stove. So the first batch didn't turn out. But luckily this mommy realized her mistake and fixed the problem for the remaining batch.

Playdough Recipe

1 cup water

1 tbsp vegtable oil

1 tbsp cream of tartar

food coloring

saucepan

1 cup flour

combine water, oil, cream of tartar, salt & food coloring in pan & heat until warm.

remove from heat & add flour

stir and knead until smooth

HAVE FUN!!

What a GREAT guy!!

As I have already blogged about this this week, the boys and I live with an AMAZING guy! Ian was in out of town all day yesterday and when he returned home last night he had brought the boys one of the best gifts!! NASA Space Suits!! The boys miss him dearly when he is away, even if just for the day, but they always love when he comes home. And of course they love it more when he comes home with gifts. They had such a fun time playing in their space suits and riding their space ship they got for Christmas. Who knows maybe one day they will be the first brothers up in space together!!
