Prayers...
I have asked MANY of you in the past to pray for Stellan and his family. Well, here I am again asking that you take a moment and say a prayer for Stellan, his momma and his family. He is currently getting ready to be airlifted back to Boston to meet with a Dr. there who can hopefully help his heart beat at a slower pace. Once again if you want to read his story check out his momma's blog.
Much Love!!

Oink, Oink...

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE pig tails...every time I see a little girl in pig tails I just want to pick her up and squeeze her. So you can only imagine my happiness when I decided to put London's hair in pig tails today, and it actually worked! Now, I don't look like some stalker, freak lady because the little girl I am picking up and squeezing is my own. How stinkin' cute is she?!?
*I know I'm biased, but my goodness she is just the CUTEST!!

Opportunistic True Friend...
We all have at least one friend who pretty much uses that friendship to get things that benefit them, whether it be a free babysitter, free food, FREE anything...but truth be told you love that person just the same. Well, that's the type of friendship Kenai has with London. In all honesty Kenai just puts up with London because she knows in the end London will pay her back 10 fold.

Summer School Camp!!
Today the boys had their week of summer camp at what was Easton's old school and what will become Waylon's new school. Easton of course LOVED every minute of being back in his old stomping grounds and seeing his FAVORITE teacher, Ms.Cragin. I was afraid Waylon was all talk about going to school, but surprisingly he did GREAT!! Even he had a HUGE hug for Ms.Cragin when we got to school. They both had a BLAST and can't wait to go back on Wednesday.

5 years older...
This morning Waylon went out with just Daddy and Mommy and had a special Waylon morning. We all went to have a breakfast snack at Panera while we waited for Snip-Its to open. Then we took Waylon to cut off his golden surfer locks. If you have been a blog reader for long you may remember the same thing occurring to our first born around the same time. Ian and I can't believe how the new haircut makes Waylon look SO much older. We love his new haircut and so does he. He can actually see without having to always hold his hair back.

The Business of a Mom...
We have been so busy...whomever said summer vacation is a time for relaxing didn't have 2 busy, active boys ages 5 and 2.5. We've had so much happen in the month of June and I feel like I didn't even blog about any of it...so now I'm playing catch up...which means this will be an unbelievably LONG post and I won't hold it against you if you don't stare at your computer for 15 minutes catchin up with the Charles family. So here we go...
*We took a trip to TX to visit friends and attend a family reunion. The kids had a BLAST!! We started our trip in Dallas where we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge{AMAZING}!! Aunt Kristan{Daddy's sister} came from Austin to spend time with her only favorite nephews and niece. Then we headed to East TX{Mt.Pleasant} to spend a wonderful weekend with {Mommy's} extended family. The kids had the BEST time splashing around the lake with their cousins and seeing{meeting} so much family!!
*We returned to CT and we were greeted by Pappy{Daddy's Dad} who drove from MI to visit the kids and to help celebrate London's ONE year birthday!!
*London turned ONE{June 25}!!!
*Daddy and Mommy celebrated their 10 year anniversary{June 26}...WOW 10 WHOLE YEARS of marriage!! We were able to escape this CRAZY house for an evening out with wonderful friends!!
*The Friday before London's birthday, Uncle John{Daddy's uncle} flew from a business trip in FL to help celebrate London's ONE year birthday!!
*We had a wonderful party for London with all of her friends and their siblings.
*Tuesday Pappy and Uncle John drove back to MI and we began to get ready for more family to arrive!
*Wednesday Uncle Leo{Daddy's brother} and Aunt Jenny arrived from OR. They got to meet sweet London for the FIRST time. We enjoyed several days with them before they left{July 4} to go celebrate Independence Day in Boston and then return back to OR.
Now things are S L O W L Y starting to get back to normal. The kids are finally back to realizing mom is about as exciting as it gets. But luckily they have a lot of activities to keep them busy...Easton had golf camp all last week and now he has soccer camp all this week. Waylon is turning into a fearless fish with his swim lessons and is doing a great job! And London well, she's working on cutting her two top teeth and just being a ONE year old{trying to walk, talk and find her place in this CRAZY family}.
I also want to ask for prayers for Easton...he will be seeing a pediatric surgeon tomorrow morning to have a Branchial Cleft Cyst examined. After I noticed a mass in his collar bone area, I took him to London's ONE year check-up and had the Dr. check it quickly. After consulting with another Dr. and speaking with an ENT it was decided he needed to see a pediatric surgeon , it is something that will more than likely have to be surgically extracted. But just say a prayer for him and us as we decide what to do.
Much Love!!
