The boys had a GREAT opportunity to skate between periods for the Hartford Wolf Pack{a minor league hockey team for the New York Rangers}. It was such a fun night for the boys and such a proud momma moment for me. We were so blessed to have some of their best friends come to the game to support them and also to have Pappy here from MI to cheer them on. After they finished their game we stayed around and watched the Wolf Pack play and SO many people kept coming up to Waylon saying they saw him playing, how good he was and asking how old he was{he is the smallest one out on the ice}. It was such a GREAT night!!

*Don't get me started on how they took away my cannon rebel because my lens was TOO powerful or how they took away my video camera because it wasn't allowed...ok not took away, but we had to take back to the car. Hence the poor photo quality*

Like Mother...Like Daughter!

I love how she has her hat on{always over her eyes}, her shopping bag and pushing her baby stroller...I LOVE having a girl!!

Snowmen...

We finally got some wet snow here in CT and with Daddy's help the boys headed out after dinner to make snowmen. The boys did a GREAT job and actually used GREAT team work to roll the balls and only needed Daddy's help to stack them. Thanks Daddy for helping the boys make their first snowmen of the year!!

Disney World...

Can't come SOON enough!!

I was so excited when I got the mail today and found our Disney Paperwork from our travel agent! I CAN NOT wait to go to Disney, especially when I go outside to find 3 inches of snow and it's supposed to continue to snow until Sunday. We still have a couple weeks until our trip but I am more than ready...I've even already started packing!

The Only Thing Missing...

We had cupcakes, candles and sang "Happy Birthday" to celebrate GrandPam's Birthday. The kids enjoyed this little tradition of ours, but we REALLY wish the Birthday girl was here to celebrate with us...we all miss her SO.VERY.MUCH.

Blast from the Past...

This is quite possibly one of my FAVORITE pictures. It was taken shorty after Easton turned one and we had just gotten our beloved Denali. I LOVE how they are both so relaxed without a care in the world and how Easton has a hold of the TV remote. I also see London when I look at Easton in this picture. She reminds me so much of her oldest brother...I love it. I love how sometimes when I look at my last baby I see my very first baby.

Birthday Party in Heaven...

Today would be the kids' GrandPam's Birthday. As much as we know she is happy in heaven and we will someday see her again, not a day goes by that we don't miss her and wish she was here with us. The truth is that as much as I am sad that my mother-in-law isn't here for me to call or talk to, I am more sad for Easton, Waylon and London, because they are missing out on knowing the love that she had for them. She could not wait to become a grandma and I am so blessed that she was here the day Easton was born and stayed with us to help take care of him for the first few days of his life. She was such an amazing mom and grandma. I am so thankful that Easton spent the first year of his life getting to know her, having lots of pictures of them together, yet I am SO sad that Waylon and London were never given that opportunity. I am sad that none of my children will ever truly know their GrandPam. I am sad that my children's cousins will never be given those same opportunities. I am sad that my future sister in law will never meet the most amazing mother I was blessed to meet, blessed to have be apart of my life, blessed to have molded me into a great wife and mother. I am just SAD but not as much for me as for my children!!

Little Miss Organization...

During our snow day a couple days ago, London took it upon herself to reorganize our tupperware. Apparently she thinks the tupperware is better accessible if placed all over the kitchen floor.

Snowed In...

Easton's school was canceled yesterday and we were supposed to get a HUGE snow storm. Funny thing is it didn't start snowing until after 1pm and then we only got 3 inches. After everyone got up from naps they all got their snacks and enjoyed a movie...I thinks it's funny that both of the boys are wearing their underwear and no pants...this is how most of our afternoons are spent. Underwear and no pants.

Northeastern Traditions

We learned yesterday from a great friend that if the kids want a snow day that it is a northeastern tradition to place a spoon under your pillow{as well as sleep in your pj's inside out}. We decided to give it a try last night, so the boys placed spoons under their pillows right before bed and would you believe it worked! Now I will have to convince them that every time they don't want to go to school, placing a spoon under your pillow won't ALWAYS work. I googled this tradition to try and find the "reasoning" behind it but I couldn't find any. So if you're a native northeastern and know exactly why it's a spoon and why you put it under your pillow, please share...I'm curious to know.

The NEEKED Truth...

Is that Lodon has started taking her clothes{and diaper} off when she's supposed to be sleeping. No more zipper front footed pj's for this princess, as I found her one recent morning with her pjs completely unzipped and her diaper completely off. Here is how I found her yesterday after nap, once again trying to undress herself.

Free Entertainment...

The kids enjoyed checking out the lobsters{free entertainment} while we waited for our seats at dinner last night. London wasn't quiet sure what to think of them.

MISLEADING...

I realized the last few posts of London may have been a little misleading. Although she is sometimes a little dramatic she REALLY, TRULY is an amazing little girl. And most of the time an amazingly HAPPY little girl!
