I am LoVeD!!

If you know me very well, then there are chances you have eaten at P.F. Changs with me. It is one of my favorite restaurants, however, there is not one here in Connecticut. You also probably know that my husband does a great deal of traveling for work, often to cities with wonderful restaurants. So, yesterday Ian had a trip to Boston (he drove) but before he left he got our cooler out without me knowing and packed it in his car. When he arrived home yesterday right at dinner time he walked in with Changs!! I was so excited, not only for the GREAT food, but also because he did all that for me! He ordered not only my favorite dishes but also my favorite dessert, banana eggrolls!! Last night I felt like the most loved girl in the whole world!!

Look To Your RIGHT...

There is a poll I put up to see what you all think Baby #3 will be...Boy or Girl. You have a week to vote, we will be going to the hospital on February 7th to find out if we will need to buy pink things or continue our blue streak. It is always exciting to see the baby again and make sure he/she is still developing. But we are also excited to find out the sex, we can't wait!!

YUM or YUCK...

YOU DECIDE!!There is this GREAT Tia food restaurant right down the road from our house and we get take out from there at least every other week if not every week. Daddy has been getting this seafood soup lately, that the boys love! Waylon likes just the soup juice where as Easton likes the seafood part, more importantly the "octopus" part. Easton and Daddy say YUM while Waylon and Mommy say YUCK!!

BRIGHT Light!

For Christmas in my stocking I got one of those BRIGHT key chain lights. Usually Easton uses it more than I do, but Waylon found not only my keys but the light this afternoon. I heard him with my keys and went to take them away when I found him lying on the floor shining the light under the couch. Then he enjoyed shinning the light on his body before I wrangled the keys away from him, so they didn't end up in the toilet or trash!

BiG wAyLoN!!

Waylon is now old enough to take his very FIRST gymnastics class. Easton takes a class at the same time, however, since it isn't a "mommy and me" class, I enrolled Waylon in his own class at the same time! Waylon has become a walker, that being his main mode of transportation, so this gymnastics class is a great way to build on his walking skills and teach him a little structure/routine. Today was our second class and he jumped right in, like an old pro. It is so fun to watch him explore and show his own personality without the help of his big brother.

Frosty the Snowman...

Today we got about 5-6 inches of good, wet snowman snow. So while Waylon napped this morning Easton and Mommy headed outside to make our first snowman of the year! We have had lots of snow already this winter but none of it has been good snowman snow until today!!

BIG Boy!!

Today was a BIG day for Easton! It amazes me how quickly this little boy is growing up!! He ice skated for the FIRST time all by himself. Daddy got him a ice rink for the porch for Christmas, and has been working REALLY hard to get the ice smooth enough for Easton to skate on. So today Easton hit the ice with all his hockey gear on to try the rink out. I was so impressed to look out the window and see Easton skating all by himself! He got so good at skating that Daddy gave him his hockey stick and they played a little hockey!! Then tonight is Easton's FIRST night in his new bunk bed. With the new baby coming and all our family being out of state we thought we'd let the boys bunk up and then keep a guest bedroom. So once again, Daddy ordered the bunk beds and picked up the mattresses today, so that Easton could sleep in the top bunk. Easton was so excited to go to bed tonight, Mommy is a little nervous. I took the video monitor out of Waylon's room and put it in with Easton so that I can keep an eye on him tonight(tomorrow I will be getting another video monitor to permanently keep in with Easton). So we'll see how the night goes!! I'll post pictures of the new room once we get it all set up and the new bedding arrives. It is hard to believe that he is only three, he acts like 10, but then again I feel like it was just yesterday he was my sweet snugly little baby boy!

Sledding!!

These are the last pictures of Pappy's visit that are left to post. Pappy left early New Years Day, but luckily before he left we got some snow. The boys LOVE to play in the snow and go sledding. They enjoyed showing Pappy how it's done!!

HAPPY 2008!!

We decided to keep things low key this New Years Eve. Daddy decided to cook up a GREAT meal for the family. After letting the boys look at the lobsters it was in the pot they went. While Easton and Daddy cooked dinner, Waylon found a pair of Easton's undies and decided they looked much better as a hat. He enjoyed running around the house with undies on his head!

We have had a great 2007 with lots of wonderful blessings, we are looking forward to 2008 just as much! Hope the New Year brings lots of blessings to you and your families!!
