What's a GIRL to do...

when she's been {vomiting}sick on and off for 2 and a half weeks...wear her pjs ALL day and catch up on her shows of course.

It has been a LONG couple of weeks with this sweet girl, she goes from feeling OK to throwing up everything including liquids in a matter of seconds. Just when we thought it was getting better it would start all over again. But finally after going to the pediatrician we discovered that since she had had the stomach flu her poor little tummy didn't know how to heal. The pediatrician put her on an antacid to help her inflamed and irritated tummy calm down. It seems to be working, she's eating more, and seems to be in a better mood...assuming it's because she feels better.

Finklehopper the Frog...

Eaton's gym class has a frog named Finklehopper that they send home with a kindergartener every week and that child has to keep Finklehopper active. There is a book and a folder that is sent home as well, the book is about Finklehopper the frog and then the folder is for the child to write a paper about what fun active activities they did with Finklehopper at their house and also to share pictures of themselves with Finklehopper. Easton enjoyed taking Finklehopper to hockey and to daddy's gym to work out.

Girls do somethings BETTER than Boys...

Easton could literally spend EVERY minute of EVERY day out on his hockey rink, he LOVES it!

{wonder}FULL Break...

We had a VERY fun filled winter break. Instead of doing several different posts I figured it would be easier to just compile them all into one FULL post.

The boys made beautiful gingerbread houses:

Daddy {and Uncle Alex} worked SO hard and got the rink ready for the boys to skate on:

We celebrated Uncle Alex's Birthday{we took him to Hibachi for dinner}:

Daddy took the boys to the local Police Station:

2009 Recap...

A lot of wonderful things have happened for the Charles family in 2009...so let's recap{once again this is more for me than anyone else}...

Easton turned 5

graduated pre-school with his BEST buddy, Devin

started kindergarten

rides the BIG boy bus everyday to and from school

lost his FIRST baby tooth

had surgery

Waylon turned 3

was potty trained

had our family's first surgery

got a big boy haircut

started nursery school half day, 2 days/week

started hockey and gymnastics

London turned 1

learned to walk and run

started talking

started gymnastics

The family

moved into a new house

went to Disney World

visited many friends and family in 2 trips to TX

Daddy played baseball at Fenway Park

Mommy and Daddy had their FIRST night away together in 5 yrs.

All in all it was a WONDERFUL 2009. We are looking forward to what 2010 has to bring! Hoping you and your family had a WONDERFUL 2009 and many more continued blessings in 2010.
