PICTURE PRINCESS...

If you have a little girl you MUST check out this website and their adorable dresses.  I am entering London in their Picture Princess contest and hoping she wins because she is truly a princess.  She has brought so much joy to our house of boys that only a true princess could.  I would LOVE for London to win this contest because like I said they have the CUTEST dresses and she would look fabulous wearing this one...it's my favorite!!

Mini~Momma Monday...

I always hear and always knew how much Waylon looks like me.  However, it was a HUGE slap in the face when Ian found this old picture of me.  I can not believe how much Waylon looks like me...it's a little spooky.  Since finding this picture Ian and I jokingly call Waylon mini~momma.  I actually LOVE that at least one of my children resemble me...because I hear all the time how much Easton and London look like Ian.  Just thought I'd share!!

Poo~Poo P.A.R.T.Y

Today was Waylon's Poo~Poo Party!!  When he woke up we started singing...Poo-Poo PAARTTTAAY!!  Poo-Poo PAARTTTAAY.  He was so surprised and excited to see the bathroom decorated and to see his cupcakes{which he gets one when he goes poo-poo} and his goodie jar{which he gets to pick out a candy when he goes pee-pee}.  He had a GREAT day today and only one accident which was really mommy and daddy's fault, because we forgot to reset the timer.
Way To Go Waylon...we are so proud of you!  You're becoming such a BIG boy these days!!
We love you so very much!!

Momma Monday

Do you ever feel like when people ask how things are going you just give the quick reply "GREAT" when in all actuality it's not all that GREAT.  Sometimes it is easier just to give the "GREAT" reply than to have to either a)get into an explanation as to why things aren't great or b)because it's easier to pretend things are great.  This really hit me after our week in Disney.  While there we meet a wonderful family who were on vacation with their 18 month old daughter and the grandparents.  While eating dinner near them the grandmother came over and commented on how well behaved our 3 children were and asked how we did it because they were each having to take turns walking the little girl around outside while the others ate.  We initially just politely smiled and said thanks, but then I felt I needed to be honest and I told the mom a few the honest truths...that our children are not perfect ,that we are not perfect parents and honestly parenting is trial and error.  We made so many mistakes with Easton, made a few less with Waylon and a few less with London...but we are NOT perfect.  I was reminded of this while back home and on the phone retelling this story to my sister and then i started laughing because i had to interrupt my story to yell at the boys for whatever reason, then reality hit...I am far from perfect...but I am a work in progress.
I guess my point is be honest with people and with yourself no one is perfect and the sooner I accept that and admit it the easier things get.

Also please take time to pray for this family whose little boy is Stellan is in SVT-very high heart rate.  I have been praying for Stellan since he had this same condition while in the womb.  They could REALLY use your prayers!!

Much Love~Jamie

WDW Day 7...2009

We headed to Magic Kingdom{MK} for the morning to ride our favorite rides for the last time.  This was our last full day and we wanted to make sure the kids rode all the rides they wanted to.  After naps we headed to Epcot to have dinner in China and one of the BEST Chinese restaurants we have ever eaten at.  Then we went back to the BoardWalk and enjoyed our last night in Disney together as a family.

WDW Day 6...2009

We woke up and headed straight to Magic Kingdom{MK}, Easton had his pirate adventure to go on.  His adventure left from a Disney resort only accessible by boat from MK.  Once Easton was on his adventure Mommy and Daddy enjoyed some special MK time with Waylon and London riding all of Waylon's favorite rides.

After naps we had dinner at another family favorite, The Yacht's Man's Steakhouse.  It was a GREAT dinner.  After dinner we walked the BoardWalk and enjoyed some ice cream and family time!

WDW Day 5...2009

We headed to Epcot and ran into Mickey and Pals and decided to wait the 5 mins to get our pictures taken with them.  All of the kids LOVE the characters, so we can not pass up an opportunity to get pictures when them when the line is short.  After the pictures we rode all or favorite rides at Epcot.
After naps we headed to MGM/Downtown Disney for dinner and then one of the BEST shows Disney has to offer...Fantasmic.  Before the show we let the boys get their faces painted.  Easton chose the Red Power Ranger although, he's never seen any of their shows.  And Waylon chose Simba from Lion King.  They both LOVED having their faces painted and we even let them go to sleep with painted faces...it was a true vacation!!
