Sling Mama...

The other day I was at the store and while getting London more diapers and pacis I came across this baby sling. I have always LOVED the bjorn, in fact I have two different bjorn styles, so I have NEVER owned a sling. But I thought it looks so stylish and with a little girl I REALLY should own one, so I got it. And I am so glad I did because London LOVES it, she can lay down and feel like I am carrying her, when I fact my arms are free to do other things. The really cool part is that as she grows her position in the sling changes, from laying down, to sitting on the hip, to riding like a back pack and it's reversible...so cool!! So here is the BEAUTIFUL view I see when I look down... This is the picture Easton took...

Hooray For LONDON!

So, today was London's cardiology appointment at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. After hearing a murmur at her 4 week appointment our pediatrician sent us to the hospital to have her heart checked out. After the Dr. did a sonogram of London's heart it was determined that she does in fact have a small hole in her heart(VSD), but it's a small hole that won't need surgery, it should with time close on it's own. For now London will be returning to the cardiologist every 3-4 months until it is closed to check the progress of the hole. We are thankful that this was something minor and something that with time will go away. What a blessing!! Thanks for you prayers during this difficult time! Also, just as a side note, London weighed 8lbs 15oz and was 21 inches long...guess my pediatrician nurses are the ones measuring her wrong! The pictures are from London's floor time with the boys yesterday afternoon, not sure who enjoyed it more London or Waylon!

Silly Boys!

Yesterday Daddy took Waylon to the grocery store and Easton opted to stay home with mommy. Not 10 minutes after they left for the grocery, we had a terrible storm hit. Daddy had to get creative to keep the rain off of Waylon when they left the grocery store...While Mommy fed London, Easton sat quietly on the couch drawing pictures, here was the one of our family. The person with the arms and legs is Easton with his bat wings and legs.

Little Peanut!

London is now 1 month old!! WOW, where has time gone?? London was given this cute baby doll when she was born, so I want to try and take her monthly pictures with this doll to show how she is growing. We realized that the hospital made a mistake when they initially measured her, they said she was 19 inches, but at 1 week she was 18 inches.
Here are her 1 month stats:
Weight~8 lbs 11oz (25-50%)
Head Circumference~10-25%
Height~18 3/4 inches (not on the chart)

London, is our sweet LITTLE peanut! She has grown so much to us, but is still so LITTLE compared to other babies. We are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives! She is so perfect for our family and her brothers! We thank God every day for giving us this angel!!

WE LOVE YOU LITTLE LONDON!!

Paci Princess

London is turning out to be a complete repeat of her oldest brother, just like him she is now taking a pacifier and it's helping make our lives a little better. Usually when she falls asleep out falls the paci. We have had a rough week...after a long weekend with a fussy newborn we took her to the Dr. to find out she has spasmodic colic(her stomach is cramping a lot), she was given medicine for that and after spiting up/vomiting after every feeding we also realized she had out grown her acid reflux medicine, so they increased that. And after I started feeling flu like I realized I had mastitis so am now taking medicine for that. But good news is London is doing much better, no more cramping and no more screaming, uncomfortable baby and she weighs 8lbs 11oz...which is 2 lbs over her birth weight, GREAT news for this mommy to hear!! She is also sleeping from 10pm until 4am and then back in bed until 7am when I wake her up to start our day, that's 6 hours of solid sleep for her and I...HALLELUJAH!!

Bow Baby...

I put a bow in London's hair the other day and although it was SUPER cute, she wasn't a big fan. It is a little heavy for a bow and poor girl keep trying to look up and see what was on her head. You know I will try again and again as she gets older and her hair gets longer, but for now here is my bow baby!!

If any of you mommies out there know good places to order bows, PLEASE let me know, since I am kinda new at this whole bow thing!!

Boys *HEART* Tractors!!

Our boys LOVE tractors!! There is something about boys and tractors...no matter what, every boy loves tractors, at least in our house that is. We had some work done this week with our drainage and gutters, and the guy we hired brought in a small tractor to do the digging. When the boys up from nap on Thursday they were so excited to see the tractor digging in the yard.

Snug As A Bug...

In A Rug!!London has been sleeping in her own bed for probably 2 weeks now. She is so tiny in her BIG crib, and she LOVES to be swaddled, the boys not so much, but this little girl HAS to be swaddled. She is now 3 weeks old and getting bigger everyday. She is still a petite little girl, but she now weighs 7lbs 13oz. Enjoy all the recent pictures of our sweet little girl!!

More Visitors...

More Fun!!Nana (my mom) and Papa came to visit us for a long weekend. They arrived Thursday night and left Sunday morning, but we sure had a good time while they were here! Easton graduated from his MLS Soccer Camp (pictures later), we shopped, ate good food, and had lots of fun playing outside! We sure miss Nana and Papa and can't wait to see them again SOON!!

Wanna Be...

Obviously, London wants to follow in the exact same foot steps as her older brothers. I took her to the pediatrician's office yesterday and it was determined that just like her brothers, Little London has acid reflux! I was REALLY hoping that she wouldn't have it, but I think I knew all along that she did. So just like them, London is now on a daily prescription to prevent the reflux.
I was also stunned to learn that she now, at 2 weeks, weighs 7lbs 10oz. It is still strange to me that both the boys were bigger at birth than she is at 2 weeks. Here are some recent pictures of our sweet little girl!!

Easton Beckham

E has MLS Soccer Camp all week, from 5-6:30, making for a LONG afternoon. The weather has been SUPER hot and humid so the poor guy has been so sweaty after an hour and half of running on a soccer field. He is really enjoying soccer and thinks it's funny that his coach talks funny since he is from England. And Mommy has been doing a GREAT job getting Easton to soccer camp with Waylon and London in tow (patting myself on my back right now)!!
