So, today was London's cardiology appointment at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. After hearing a murmur at her 4 week appointment our pediatrician sent us to the hospital to have her heart checked out. After the Dr. did a sonogram of London's heart it was determined that she does in fact have a small hole in her heart(VSD), but it's a small hole that won't need surgery, it should with time close on it's own. For now London will be returning to the cardiologist every 3-4 months until it is closed to check the progress of the hole. We are thankful that this was something minor and something that with time will go away. What a blessing!! Thanks for you prayers during this difficult time! Also, just as a side note, London weighed 8lbs 15oz and was 21 inches long...guess my pediatrician nurses are the ones measuring her wrong!

How scary. We had no idea there was anything even wrong. We will keep London in our prayers about this heart stuff. Anything like that is always really scary and we are glad that the doctors seem fairly confident that it's not anything to be drastically concerned about. Are there any side effects to the hole... how does a hole get there anyway?--Just not fully developed? You keep mentioning her weight and length. Are you concerned that she isn't big enough? Is she in the worrisome percentile? ~If you want reply on our comment section of our blog. We love you guys!

YOUR KIDS ARE ALL SO CUTE... IT LOOKS LIKE WAYLON IS GOING TO PROVE HIMSELF TO BE MOMMA'S BOY! I'M SO HAPPY THAT LITTLE LONDON WILL BE JUST FINE, WE HAVE TO HAVE FAITH IN DOCTORS WITH OUR CHILDREN THAT THEY WILL TAKEN CARE OF AND HAVE THE BEST CARE THAT IS POSSIBLE!!!
