Easter

Easton was so excited to wake up this morning and see what the Easter Bunny brought him. He thought it was funny that the Easter Bunny ate some of the carrots Easton left out for him. After we looked in our Easter baskets we went to brunch, which Easton REALLY liked because he got to have desserts for breakfast after he finished his waffles and bacon. Waylon enjoyed brunch as well, but it was also his nap time so he spent most of his time dreaming of big wabbits!

Easter Eve

After dinner (hence Waylon's DIRTY face) Easton got to color his eggs for the Easter Bunny. He had such a fun time choosing what color he wanted each egg to be. Waylon enjoyed watching and playing with an egg...I can only image how different Easter eve will be a year from now! Easton was excited to leave a few carrots out for the Easter bunny and he did not make a peep when we left his room after putting him to bed. The Easter bunny filled the basket and ate the carrots before heading off to the neighbors!

Egg Hunt

We went on an Egg Hunt this morning, who would guess we would be hunting for eggs with a winter hat on...it was a chili 36 degrees! Easton had a fun time, so that's all that matters. He is looking forward to coloring eggs tonight and having the Easter Bunny come tonight.

Happy Easter!!

The boys went to get their pictures taken with real live bunnies! As well as the pictures turned out with the bunnies, we got some GREAT pictures without the bunnies. So we had to include a bunny picture but also others of the two of the boys just being themselves! They truly have a WONDERFUL relationship and admiration of one another that I hope will continue to grow. I love watching the two of them together!!

We got EGGED!!

Our neighborhood does this thing where someone brings you Easter goodies and you get a sign you post on your front door that say "we got egged." Easton was officially egged today! He loves all the yummy goodies and can't wait to finish his dinner so that he can eat them all. Tomorrow we will be headed to the store to get goodies to egg more neighbors!!

Real Food!

Waylon got his FIRST bitter biscuit today, and it was love at first sight! I can't believe that he is now 7 mons (yesterday). My sweet little, dependable, new baby is now a sweet little, independent, little boy (baby). He is able to crawl (inch) around on the floor to get what he wants, or to get into Easton's toys. I am amazed at how quickly he is developing and growing!
