Walon Turns ONE!!

On September 1, 2006 Waylon Hunter Charles was born at 6:10am!! I still remember that early morning of my induction like it was yesterday!! It was such an easy, amazing and quick delivery!! What a joy it was to see his sweet little face! I am TRULY one blessed momma!!
Waylon is such a fun loving little boy. He loves ALL animals and will bark when he sees a dog or meow when he sees a cat. He is very much a momma's boy these days, wanting to be held only by mommy. He loves to give kisses and wave at other people. He LOVES and adores his big brother. He LOVES when Easton will roll around in the floor with him. He LOVES firetrucks and making the siren noise. He always looks up and points to the sky when he hears an airplane fly overhead. Waylon, we love you so very much!! We can not image out lives with out your smiling little face in them. You bring so much joy and laughter into this house! Everyday I think God for you and just how perfectly made for our family you are!!

The Little Family!!

On our LAST day in Texas we drove to Frisco to meet our dear friends Brent and Elisa and their two adorable kids, Preston and Sofia. While we were waiting for the Littles to show up we took the boys on the mall carousel ride, Easton LOVED it , Waylon wasn't so sure about it!! The kids had such a fun time playing in the mall playland while us adults tried to catch up. We were able to get a quick lunch and then head back to their house for all the kids to get their naps. Then we headed to the airport later that afternoon. It was so nice to be able to spend time with such a WONDERFUL family!!

Waylon's FIRST Birthday Party!!

We had such a FUN time celebrating Waylon's FIRST Birthday at my mom's house. It was nice to have family to be with on this VERY special day!! We had a BBQ first then the WONDERFUL cake (thanks Daddy) and the open all the GREAT gifts!! Waylon was so over whelmed with all the wonderful gifts he got and just being able to spend such a great day with just as great people!!

Party Preparations!

We are so thankful that we were able to celebrate Waylon's FIRST Birthday with our family out at my mom's!! Here are the pictures from the night before the BIG DAY!! Daddy worked so hard on the cake (with a little help from Mommy) and it turned out GREAT!! Mommy made all the hanging decorations herself before we left for Texas. Thankfully Aunt Candi was out the night before to help hang all the decorations!!

Fun at Nana & Papa's!!

Here are the pictures from our FUN time at Nana and Papa's. We probably won't be headed back until next summer, and then things with be much different with two BIG boys!! The boys had a BLAST swimming, playing in the sand, chasing all the neighborhood dogs, seeing family, etc... It was so nice for the boys to be able to see my grandparents (Nanny and Papaw), it is hard to believe but this was their first time to meet Waylon! We are so thankful they drove down from Oklahoma to see the boys!!

Longest CAR Ride, EVER!!

After ALL the fun in San Antonio we woke up at 5:30 loaded the boys in the car and headed for Nana and Papa's house in East Texas...6 1/2 hours later we FINALLY arrived. It was the longest car ride the boys have ever been on. But I must say they did a GREAT job!! Sorry no shots of Waylon, his car seat was still facing the back!!
