School Pictures!!

Easton had school pictures taken at the beginning of the year and we just got them yesterday. The school was so nice to invite siblings to make appointments with the photographer and allowed them to get their pictures taken as well. It amazes me how old Easton looks. For some reason he looks like he is 5 years old to me!! Enjoy the pictures!!

Check Back...

In 3 Days!! Since Ian is out of town until tomorrow, to pass the time Easton and I got this growing sting ray. The packaging claims that the creature could grow up to 600%!! So if you are as anxious or bored as us just check back in 3 days to find out if our sting ray grew 600%!!

Sharks...

So I had to post these 2 pictures...the first one is of Easton around 17 months, his second Halloween. And of course the second picture is of Waylon on his second Halloween, just slightly over 13 months. I think it is pretty obvious they are brothers...it is SO sweet to me how much they resemble one another!!

BOOO!!

We took the boys to get Halloween pictures made to send out in our Halloween cards. I did this for Easton's second Halloween (he was a shark too), but haven't done it since until this year! I think they turned out pretty well. Easton LOVED showing off his pirate costume!!

Apple Orchard!!

Today we went to a local apple orchard to pick apples. We did this for the first time last year (Waylon was only a couple weeks old), and this year it was much different. We took our wagon to haul not only Waylon but all the apples we knew we'd pick. Easton was a much better apple picker this year and I think we all really enjoyed the experience. It is always fun to ride on the tractor pulled trailer out to the orchard!! We bought some apple cider doughnuts for the ride home which were DELICIOUS!! If you ever head this way in the fall, it is the one place you can't miss!! As you can tell from the pictures the weather is beautiful...but we are waiting for fall to hit! The last few days we have had temps in the high 80's!!

Just Like Daddy!!

Today after Easton finished his lunch he wanted to do an art project. So after discussing his options he decided he wanted to color a picture of a pirate that Daddy had brought home from work the night before. I was playing with Waylon and not really paying too much attention to Easton when I hear him say "Mommy come look at my tattoos." Thinking that I heard him wrong I head into the the kitchen to see were he had drawn all over his arm. I proceed to ask him "why would you color all over your arm?" Where as he tells me, "I didn't color, it's tattoos...just like Daddy." WONDERFUL, my son is going to become a tattooed thug...Thanks Daddy!!

A Pirate Says...

ARRGH!!Since I have gotten a few e-mails wondering how Waylon's Dr.'s appointment went today I thought I'd share. The Dr. was so pleased to see that there was NO fluid in his ears meaning the ear infections were gone. But he was still a little concerned that if/when he gets another cold that he would get an ear infection. So he decided to put him on a small daily dose of antibiotic for 6 weeks and if during that time period he gets an ear infection then they would automatically send us to an ENT to discuss tubes. So right now we will be playing the waiting game. But we are pleased and thankful that the antibiotic was able to clear up the infection!! And the pictures have nothing to do with the post but I can't post without pictures!!

On a side note three friends and I headed in to NYC Saturday and stayed the night and came back home on Sunday. Ian stayed with the boys and had their version of a boys weekend. I was so nice to be able to spend some time with GREAT friends without kids. This is the one and only picture I got of the 4 of us headed out on Saturday night!
