On The Move...

Monday London started trying to crawl on all fours instead of belly crawling.  By Tuesday{when these pictures were taken} she was a PRO!!

Praying...

Today the kids are wearing ORANGE all day to show that they are praying for sweet baby Stellan.  ORANGE happens to be his mommy's his favorite color. Today he is having surgery to repair his heart and help it beat the correct way.  Show you're supporting and praying for Stellan as well and wear ORANGE today!! Would you please join us in praying for him as well.

Momma Monday...

Ok, so I am going to share a secret with you...I am not a clean freak.  I don't mind if my house is occasionally messy and often times it is.  You wanna know why...because I have more important things to do...it called raising kids.  Once Ian and I moved into our first house I soon realized that I couldn't keep a super clean house and still be what I considered a good mom.  Sometimes this annoys my husband but then I asked him this one question...would you rather come home to a clean house or would you rather come home to your kids playing outside/drawing, playing board games/etc.?  To me there is ALWAYS time to clean the house but there is however limited time to spend teaching, playing with the kids.  Soon enough they will be in school full time, or too cool to hang out with mommy.  

Don't get me wrong...I do clean and my house isn't a complete disaster but I can guarantee you if you come over on a sunny day and were outside playing and you need to come in to go to the bathroom, my house won't be spotless...there will be piles of clothes laying in the floor, toys all over the house, dishes in the sink, but my kids will be having FUN!!  This is also the reason I must have a cleaning person...I can do the little things, when the kids are napping or watching tv...picking up toys, doing laundry, doing dishes; however cleaning toilets, mopping my floors, dusting my moldings, I just can't do, it not that I don't like to do them, it's just I have something more important to do...it's called being a MOMMY!!

ARGHHH...

Since moving into the new house Daddy and I had been keeping a secret from the boys...and this weekend was time to reveal our secret...a pirate ship!  We kept the boys in the basement and in the car on Saturday morning while it was being put together.  They were SO surprised to come home had find a pirate ship in the backyard.  It comes complete with 3 levels, the bottom is a sitting area with port holes, accessible from a door in the back or by the 3rd floor fireman pole or a ladder from the second floor; the 2nd floor is where the plank leads up and you can slide down, or there is another opening with a ladder leading to the bottom floor; and then the top floor is where the steering wheel is and the fireman pole going all the way down to the first floor.  There is also another ladder leading to the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the slide and plank.  I am hoping to get London a baby swing to hang from the mast{I plan on taking down one of the trapeze bars}.  Luckily we had GREAT weather all weekend so you can guess where the boys spent their entire waking moments!!

A Crawler and A Mover...

I took these pictures of London crawling{army style} today...trying to get to the wipes so that she could proceed to mouth them.  She is not only crawling but working on cutting her two bottom teeth...you can see the tips of them but they aren't fully through yet.
