The Early Bird...

gets the packing done!

We leave for Disney in a little over a week and my room has looked like this for the last week. I thought since the kids aren't wearing their warm summer clothes right now, because spring is just now hitting, that I could wash and start laying out/packing some of our stuff. I am typically that last minute packer...I actually thrive under stress, but I decided to try the whole prepared route this time. I am hoping to have clothes all packed by the end of this week.

Trophies!!

The boys had their last day of hockey and their awards ceremony. They each got a little hockey skater trophy and to be honest Waylon was in heaven...it's his VERY first trophy and he was beaming with pride after he got it. The boys had to thank all their coaches and then the head coach and Sonar the WolfPack wolf handed them their trophy. It was such a proud moment for me and to be honest I almost shed a tear as I watched Waylon get his trophy. All the coaches were cheering for him along with several other parents and I was just so overwhelmed at how much better he had gotten this year and how amazing he is for a 3 year old!

Waylon was SO excited to see Sonar{the Wolf} that at first he skated to him and then the coaches were all calling him over. He shook the first coaches hand and then skated past the other one right to Sonar!

CountDown...

I made up these little countdown chains for the boys for our trip to Disney World. These pictures were taken a few days ago, but basically every night before bed we count how many links there are, then the boys each tear one link off their chain and then we recount the links/days until we head to Disney. It has been really helpful for Waylon to understand that we still have several days left and not tomorrow.

Hurray for Diffendoffer Day...

It was Diffendoffer Day at school for Easton today, and one kid couldn't have colored hair without the other one wanting colored hair too.

Fox in Socks...

Making his crazy socks to wear to school today for Dr. Seuss week.

It's been Dr. Seuss week at school for Easton. He had Oh The Places You will Go{had to wear a shirt with the name of a place he's visited}on Monday, then Cat In The Hat{wear red and white and a Dr. Seuss hat}, today was Fox In Socks{crazy sock day}, Hurray for Diffendoofer Day{dress in your craziest clothes} tomorrow and Friday is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish{bring in 2 rhyming objects}. He{and I} has had such a FUN week talking about what he would wear or do for each day.
